This study examines Hanoi’s current international tourism development efforts, focusing on tourism service quality. It aims to assess the relevance of the current policies in place and the quality of the services provided to foreigners in Hanoi. To do so, it investigates three prominent sites, namely, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam. A survey conducted at these tourism landmarks, in-depth interviews, direct observation in the investigated places and secondary sources from published magazines and materials provide the data used in this study to make recommendations. Quality service issues are analyzed along SERVQUAL five dimensions. The results show that there are still several drawbacks in knowledge value, environmental landscape, safety, attitude and tourism infrastructure. Relevant strategies designed to enhance Hanoi tourism quality for foreigners in the future are recommended. The various proposals made include among others raising people’ awareness, setting a concrete institutional framework, enacting and executing the laws, and sharpening the staff’s skills

Extended network and algorithm finding maximal flows

Graph is a powerful mathematical tool applied in many fields as transportation, communication, informatics, economy, In ordinary graph the weights of edges and vertexes are considered independently where the length of a path is the sum of weights of the edges and the vertexes on this path. However, in many practical problems, weights at a vertex are not the same for all paths passing this vertex, but depend on coming and leaving edges. The paper develops a model of extended network that can be applied to modelling many practical problems more exactly and effectively. The main contribution of this paper is algorithm finding maximal flows on extended networks

Improving Machine Translation Quality with Denoising Autoencoder and Pre-Ordering

The problems in machine translation are related to the characteristics of a family of languages, especially syntactic divergences between languages. In the translation task, having both source and target languages in the same language family is a luxury that cannot be relied upon. The trained models for the task must overcome such differences either through manual augmentations or automatically inferred capacity built into the model design. In this work, we investigated the impact of multiple methods of differing word orders during translation and further experimented in assimilating the source languages syntax to the target word order using pre-ordering. We focused on the field of extremely low-resource scenarios. We also conducted experiments on practical data augmentation techniques that support the reordering capacity of the models through varying the target objectives, adding the secondary goal of removing noises or reordering broken input sequences. In particular, we propose methods to improve translat on quality with the denoising autoencoder in Neural Machine Translation (NMT) and pre-ordering method in Phrase-based Statistical Machine Translation (PBSMT). The experiments with a number of English-Vietnamese pairs show the improvement in BLEU scores as compared to both the NMT and SMT systems

Determinants Influencing Liquidity of Listed Steel Firms in Vietnam

This study is conducted to investigate the impact levels of determinants influencing liquidity of listed steel firms on Vietnam Stock Exchange. Data were collected from audited financial statements of 25 listed food processing firms from 2014 to 2017. This research employs the least squares method (OLS) and tests to determine the influence of factors on the liquidity of listed sample firms. The results indicate that return on assets (ROA), operating period (AGE) and asset structure (AS) have positive impacts on the liquidity. In contrast, the firm size and debt ratio has the opposite effects. Based on the findings, a number of recommendations are proposed to increase the liquidity ratio of listed firms in the future.
